Tip Me!
A Quick Resource for NYCKI
What is Tip Me? Tip me is a quick "tips" resource to organize various types of Circle K Projects and Programs!6 Steps to organizing a tie-dye event

1. Secure a location and a time. A great location would be like a college union or an area outside (if it's warm)2. Obtain supplies such as t-shirts (perhaps to sell and fundraiser for), tie dye (decide the colors), rubber bands, gloves, buckets, garbage bags, squirt bottles and table cloths (to keep things clean)
3. Advertise to your campus! Let them know you're having a Circle K social event!
4. Organize people to oversee the table. There should be at least two people at the event to make sure that a mess is not being made.
5. On the organized day, make sure that everything is running smoothly. Have plastic bags ready for people who are done making tie-dye shirts so that they can bring them home!
6. When you're done, have a cleaning up party! Make sure that the dye didn't get anywhere, and that all the dyed water is thrown away.
6 Steps to plan a Membership Drive

1. Secure a location and a time. Try to get a location that will attract a lot of attention and get traffic!2. Create colorful flyers to give out. This should include information about Circle K and your club
3. Find people to man the booth. Organize a time sheet for the Executive Board to oversee the booth and talk to members
4. Make your location interesting! Fill it with pictures, scrapbooks and resources for students to see how fun CKI is! You may want to bring your gong and banner!
5. Bring snacks and/or things for people to do at your booth to attract attention. For example, create a card-making booth so students can draw cards for hospitalized children
6. Run your membership drive! Remember, any student is a potential member!
